Contract management plan
STAR Procurement (a shared procurement service for Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford Councils), Glossary of Terms, published in May 2019, suggests a contract management plan: ‘…lays out key information about the way in which the contract will be managed throughout its duration. It is drawn up as part of the initial contract, and developed during the contract’s life.’
Commercial Continuous Improvement Assessment Framework, published by HM Government in May 2021, defines a contract management plan as a: ‘Documented plan which sets out the resources, risks and contract management activities required to effectively manage a contract.’
Functional Standards Common Glossary, published by the Cabinet Office, defines a contract management plan as: ‘A process through which the contract portfolio is categorised according to the organisations judgment of risk, value and criticality.’
